We had our annual Cascade Chainbreaker XC race last weekend and thanks to all the racers, volunteers, spectators and sponsors. It was a great success! Too bad the weather didn’t cooperate as much as it had in past years. We got a little bit of everything–sun, wind, rain, and snow. Most riders loved it and it helped knock the dust down. Those that ended up getting a bit too cold had a harder day. Luckily, we had coffee, hot dogs and veggie burgers waiting for all the racers to help feed and warm them up after their race. Not mention the delicious Chainbreaker White IPA from Deschutes Brewery.
Ryan Trebon took first place in the pro men’s race finishing the 38 mile race in 2h 40m. And, Alice Pennington won the pro women’s race covering the 25 mile course in just under 2h 4m. Follow the link below to see all results. Here’s to another great race next spring and hopefully, with better weather.
